RIGHTS, PRIVILEGES AND OBLIGATIONS OF MEMBERS
(1) Subject to the provisions of this constitution and all other rules and regulations, all members shall have the right and privilege:
(a) To participate in the activities of the organization
(b) To partake in the discussion of all issues affecting the organization
(c) To make use of the facilities of the organization subject to the rules or regulation governing such use
(d) To represent the organization at local, national and international conferences
/events subject to the approval of the National Executive Committee or the Branch Executive Committee as the case may be.
(e) To be recommended to any person, body, Institution etc. for any purpose that is consistent with the aims and objectives of the organization
(f) To be supported, protected and defended against any violation of his/her right as a person and as a member
(g) To benefit from any welfare scheme or initiative for members
(2) Members shall have the obligation:
(a) To pay the prescribed annual due.
(b) To pay the prescribed unit or Branch dues and levies
(c) To attend meetings and perform assigned tasks
(d) To comply and ensure compliance with the provisions of this constitution and the rules, regulations and decisions of the organization at all level.
(e) Not to engage in any act or conduct that may frustrate or sabotage the achievement of the aims and objectives of or bring the organization to disrepute.
(f) To update the information in his/her membership form by promptly informing his/her unit/branch of any change therein.
(g) To obtain letter of introduction, with copy of his/her identity card attached, from his/her former Unit for presentation to his/her new Unit in the case of change in location.
