Man Docked For Alleged Theft Of Window Net Worth N16, 000
A 42-year-old man, Izekor Stanley, who allegedly broke into a house and stole window net valued at N16,000, was on Tuesday arraigned in an Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun.
Stanley, of no fixed address, is facing a three- count charge of stealing, burglary and conspiracy.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Chudu Gbesi, told the court that the accused and others at large, committed the offences on June 11, at about 12 noon at Ijagba, Ota.
Gbesi said that the accused and his accomplices conspired to break into the house of one Animashaun Temitope, and stole a window net valued at N16, 000.
He said that the offences contravened Sections 361,451 and 516 of the Criminal Code Vol. 1, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Senior Magistrate, Mr S. O. Banwo, granted bail to the accused in the sum of N200, 000, with two sureties in like sum and
adjourned the case until July 26 for hearing.
